I was wondering when ESPN is coming to Xbox Live, because I can't find an estimated launch date anywhere. Thanks.

From what I recall it's supposed to be early 2011...I don't think they put a definite date on the release yet.

Also, keep in mind that ESPN has imposed restrictions on this deal. One of them being, that users won't be able to access this content at all if they don't have an ISP that's paid ESPN for the privilege of offering ESPN 360.
"ESPN on Xbox LIVE, providing great content from ESPN3.com and ESPN.com, is only available to Xbox LIVE Gold members. For access to ESPN3.com content, Gold members must receive their Internet connection from an affiliated broadband provider."ESPN
So not only do you need to be an Xbox Live Gold member, but also look into whether or not your ISP is on ESPN's list of participating providers. ESPN3.com Participating Providers

I didn't know that but I have Comcast so my worry ends there. Look at all those providers though, I don't think there will be too many people left out of it.

Yeah, I was pretty sad when I found out it was going to be based off of the ESPN360 service that they ESPN already provides because my ISP is not a part of that.

My provider isn't on the list. Oh well, it's not like the sports lineup for ESPN3 is that great.

I'm a huge college football and basketball fan.... and I often rely on ESPN 360 to watch games that arent televised in my area, so I'm really hoping Xbox adds the ESPN feature around the start of College Football season or around early fall the latest. If not, I will just use an HDMI cable to connect my laptop to my HDTV to watch the games like I normally do.
