When is gaming at its best?

When do you find gaming most enjoyable? night?day?, with firends?alone? What ever the reason is, i would just want to know when you like to game.
For me, i like been with friends in person or online, durin night and with something to eat :P n also the volume on the computer or tv beign very loud :D n also when its raining hard and its thundering :D it adds dat extra feeling to gaming haha

I prefer to settle down and get lost in a long RPG. I like my multiplayer games with friends, but playing alone is much better for me.

For me, since I work a swing shift playing before work is too, umm, distracting. Playing when I get home often doesn't happen or happens too late. I work Mon - Fri so I would say Saturday mornings. Cup of coffee or tea, or maybe just a hunger ache in my belly to fuel my agression (for shooters of course), and all before my girlfriend wakes up!!

Playing rockband or guitar hero drunk at a party then having your girlfriend get on the mic while you shred the bass.

Offline multiplayer with buddies and a few brewskies

Gaming with buddies is excellent, espeically when playing FIFA 09 or online COD4.

If the game has an option of playing co-op campaign, i will go for that anyday over single player. If there is no co-op campaign, i would rather no one was around so i could play on my own.

co-op with a friend, red bull, pizza and maybe some alcamahol (got 2 bottles of johnnie black sitting on my shelf :D)

For me its being alone with the lights off, and playing a good survival horror game, or getting rapped up in an rpg.

NASCAR 09, with 14 of my buddies playing a 100% race, pure respect and all out fun, noone getting angry, just laughing and having fun.

GTA IV: same people as above, playing free-mode, making up games..and just doing stupid stuff..

At night: playing a scary/creepy game alone in the dark or playing COD4 (PC) or Halo 3 with buddies

After the last day of finals, though I'm sure it'll even be better at the end of this semester after graduation.

Exactly like me i prefer to play rpgs alone because most of my friends don't like them but play online with friends around me because kicking *** infront of a crowd is sweet lol.

Oh man it has to be when it is a fairly cloudy and dreary day outside, get a bag of salt and vinegar chips, a couple monsters, sit in my gaming recliner and get lost in some Fallout. On weekends its either COD4 or Rock Band with the buds.

best time i have had was playing with some friends so thats the best way to play for me, i do enjoy RPGs though so playing alone isnt to bad.

With friends on a laid back multiplayer game, when teams actually act like teams, then after the game we actually say good game, and they reply good game always makes the game better.Landrack

when i play my games on my dad's 50" hd tv.

Playing a shooter online all night, relaxed with no parents interupting my gaming. Also, playing Oblivion when it's snowing really hard outside and you can't go out is just so, soothing, it puts me in a great mood.

Usually playing a new game I bought by myself is sometimes the best but other times playing multiplayer games with my friends is fun too.
