Kenmare North Dakota... 14 weeks, 14 fricking weeks. I ended up buying a new 360 and once I got my old console back, I sold it and made Microsoft give me compensation for making me wait so long. They ended up giving me vouchers and a couple of months of free Xbox Live.
It took mine like 11 days. I just got it back a couple of weeks ago. The reason mine was so quick was because they just sent me a different console. It will probably take yours two weeks.
When I sent mine in it took 6 weeks but I had the RROD at the same time as everyone else in the US it seemed. My friend had the RROD the other month and the MS rep told him that he was surprised because they hardly get any RROD systems anymore since they fixed them and the only ones getting sent in are old ones that haven't died yet. Anyway, my friend got his back the next friday.
I guess the point of the story is that MS shouldn't be too busy with them so you should get it back soon.
I got mine from tartget and got a 3yr warrenty for 30 bucks. WHen its got the rrod i just took it in and exchanged it that day no questions asked..of course i lost all of my saved games though :(
