My friend said that the bubble shield in halo 3 is real. He said he saw one in the army. It stopped all bullets for like 30 seconds. If this is true, they should be available in the near future. What would something like that cost?Spinbrett
I swear I've seen a few threads by you that talk about your friend telling you something and everytime it is just horribly wrong. You got to stop listening to that guy.

clearly he was just joking right ..or was he :|
Are you serious? Umm, there is no such thing as a Bubble Shield. I mean, something with a simlar concept MAY be achievable, but not anything like the Halo one. Furthermore, millitary tech is not made avaiable to the civilian population for a long time, especially something so useful and potentially dangerous in the wrong hands as a Bub ble Shield.
As I said something similar could exist, but I really doubt it. Force Fields don't exist, especially not ones that deflect bullets. Your friend was pulling your leg, probably because he tought he could get you to belive it, or he is just not very bright.
he told me they have force shield technology available now. He also told me that the army is working on a hovercraft that floats just above the ground. He said he couldnt tell me any more because it was all top secret. He said he was surprised that bungie found out about the bubble shields. I'm probably gonna buy one when they come out.Spinbrett
First of all...I would have asked him what he was smoking? Second....I would have fell out laughing hysterically!!!!!!

I seriously hope you eventually fess up and say this is a joke. If not, then you just need to re-evaluate your... something. If it was top secret, how would your friend know? When something is TOP SECRET in the millitary and especially the government, it stays that way.

*Re-Reads post*
"uuhhhh"
*Shakes head turns around and walks away*
You can actually make one yourself. Just get some plast material and a metal circular frame. Just secure the plastic to the metal fram and make sure you add a zipper and leg/arm holes so you can get out. You made need to have a friend shoot it to test it.Juggernaut140
Hilarious....but in the hands of the friend in question....highly dangerous...LOL!
ya, I thought about making one. I want one that is an energy shield though. I know that the secret lies in magnets and batteries. If I could find someway to generate a large power source, that would the key. The magnets let off a natural resistance. I figured thats how they make bubble shields. I should be able to buy one soon though online.Spinbrett
I hear toasters and water produce lots of electricity :P

It sounds weird and impossible, but he is actually right. It doesn't stop bullets and isn't really a force field like H3, but there is a new defense system that Isreal is developing that can stop an RPG. It is attached to a tank or helicopter. How it works is it has two radars that detect the projectile and then launch some sort of TOP SECRET counter measure that disarms the explosive part of an RPG or Anti Air Craft round. There was a news report done on it that had video. It is real.

I don't know of any hover crafts that hover over the ground, but the miliatry has been using a hover craft that hovers over the water for a few years now. Or they've had them atleast idk if they have really used them yet.
