I hope this isn't one of those questions that gets asked every other day, but I'm wondering: Where do most people buy Video Games?
Also, why? Price? Frequent deals? Wide selection? Loyalty?

zavvi (uk) or amazon usually. i buy preowned games from local shops though. i dunno where to buy black ops from though, its cheaper on amazon but i dunno what they are like for delivering pre orders
I buy New Games at Best Buy and use my Rewards Card
and
I buy Used/Bargain games at Gamestop, especially when they run their buy 2 used, get one free deal.
If saving money is the problem, make me part of it.If you buy from Gamestop/EB Games you are part of the problem.

I pre order my shnizz from gamestop. I am done with used old games going for new games that are just released from now on.
I make all of my pre-orders from Gamestop and then make a bunch of impulse buys while I'm talking to the cashiers. That place can be as bad as Steam sometimes.

Amen brother
I don't like stealing from devs so I make sure the money goes to them
I do all my shopping on Amazon really, it's just so much easier and I get so much money back for new releases
Online a lot. Just bought a bunch of rare GBA games (mario vs dk, mario and luigi, etc). When I buy them in person, I usually shop wherever is the cheapest, though Ive stopped shopping at Gamestop almost completely. They finally tried selling me an open game as a new copy which was just, after hearing stories, a bad sign and really bad business practice. Not sure why they would do that - makes no storage sense. The only time I will shop there is for used games on DS.
[QUOTE="archvile_78"]:P Just like the Gamestop near my workplace. It's like this, "Oh, Hey! It's you again." -_- lolEb games, they pretty much recognize me on sight there.
Elann2008
lol me its like "hey! How are you liking Deadrising 2? I found a neat trick for quick PP" me: "err i'll go grab my game first i'll get to you soon!"
amazon for everything. ebay for buying used games
most of my arcade games i have i got on sale because of amazon, good times
also got a year of live for $19 because of a game credit i got for pre ordering reach
Gamestop or Walmart (convenient since both are right next to each other and are within 5 min driving distance :)
I usually buy from GS/EB. Never had a problem. [QUOTE="Ellimem"]If you buy from Gamestop/EB Games you are part of the problem.

No as in "YOU are the problem"
Buying from there does nothing to help keep the industry alive meaning that if you buy your games from those places you are killing the industry
I have a Play N Trade behind my house and a Gamestop right down the street, but I normally go to Play N Trade and buy off Amazon.
Mainly, Best Buy or Gamestop. Sometimes Wal-Mart or Target if there's someone actually working the electronics department. Trying to get someone to go to the electronics department in those stores is like pulling teeth.
