Where is all the CoD5 Hype!?

You are wrong, about hype ruining games. Halo 3 is bashed because it causes reactions. Ninja Gaiden 2 was hyped more than Halo 3. More so, that the developers themselves claimed that companies would lose hope, and give up when they see the game. That was Itagaki's reason for not showing screenshots.

Guess what? The game wasn't recieved as well as expected, but bashing the game caused little response. What's the most popular Japanese cartoon you can think of at this time? Why is it such a coincidence that there are so many trolls AGAINST that show? I doubt it is the only cartoon they hate, but their bashing causes the most spark.

Call of Duty 5 could be extremely hyped, and ignored if it gets 4.0 ratings. HOWEVER, if Call of Duty 5 had a league of hardcore fans that'd cause 10 page arguments, then it'd be bashed. Don't believe me? Check youtube. The TV show with the highest ratings and loyal fans get bombarded with "this sucks" comments. That is why there were so many GTA sucks comments even before the game was released, because it was the talk then. So yes, Call of Duty 5 could be hyped... the bashing done by trolls depends exclusively on the commotion caused. That is why, Wii isn't bashed so much by PS3 fans... as opposed to 360 bashing.

I'm still not hyping COD 5, these are the same guys who made COD 3, which was a little inferior to both COD 2 and COD 4 IMO. Nice post as always.

The popular Japanese cartoon is something won't specifically mention, because I'll probably end up tracking a troll down and doing something I won't regret. Halo 3 recieved negative reviews on Amazon.com months before it already arrived. Back in April, the game was under attack.

Notice how people got bored of bashing Ninja Gaiden 2? Even the ones that said it was their worst experience in gaming, Yet, that game was hyped more than Halo 3. If Sega ranted about how their new "Sonic the Hedgehog" is the best game ever, and the game gets 4.0 ratings... do you know what posters say? "I returned it to the store in 5 minutes, I want to forget about this game now." 3 people respond, the guy never mentions it again.

Halo 3 is just like that specific Japanese cartoon that trolls rag all over on every opportunity. On that particular Japanese cartoon I won't mention, do you think the show is bashed because anime viewers are really "disappointed" with it? They ignore the shows they don't like, why can't they do the same with the popular one?

I DON'T own Halo 3, OR an Xbox 360.

Okay here is my input on this game.

SO before Call of Duty 4, there was nothing but people saying they are tired of WWII games...and now that Call of Duty 5 is coming out, and people are soooo excited about it.

But about the hype, i am still the guy who is bored of WWII games.

meh, it doesnt really impress me. Its the same old shooter and until treyarch can show me they can make games as good as infiniti ward I'm going to get excited about any of their projects. JoshChambers

But isnt every shooter just another shooter? I mean they are all pretty much the same out side of a few lil things..and I mean lil..I love WWII shooters more just because they feel real to me. They have all the history behind them to drive them.

some people dont want more ww2 games an some people are IW fanboys.

i persinaly dont care who makes the game as long as its good.

as for it being a ww2 game, meh, i have never played a ww2 shooter so it should be fun.

Where did you get Ninja Gaiden being more hyped then Halo 3? WTF r u smoking? Also if you were a big fan of Halo like me well then this is the reason Halo 3 sucks

1.failed single player

2.story was garbage

3. multiplayer has so many problems it ruins the game

4. SINGLE PLAER IS RUINED BY THE FAILURES AT BUNGIE >:(
