Gears of War for when I bought it (bundled with the system) and knowing that Halo 3 and GTAIV were coming. Otherwise I would have waited couple of weeks and bought a PS3 since they became so easy to find. I bought the 360 on the PS3 launch day where they had a sweet deal bundled with GRAW, Gears, XBLA V1, and Ridge Racer 6 for 50 dollars off the regular price. I'm glad I made the right choice for now though might buy a PS3 down the road.
For the sequels of all games I liked on the original Xbox (Halo, Ninja Gaiden, KOTOR, Otogi, etc) and for some of the exclusive titles like Dead Rising and PDZ (which I liked) just to name a few.
I can't be 100% sure which specific game it was, but the first game I ever bought was Splinter Cell, before I even owned my own Xbox 360. I got the 360 a few weeks later. So probably Splinter Cell Double Agent, Gears of War, Rainbow Six and Call of Duty 3 where all the ones I got with it and PGR3.I dunno if I got it for any specific game, but rather the whole experience. The games I am looking forward to the most are GTA4 and Splinter Cell Conviction.
Gears of war, rainbowsix vegas, graw, halo 3, basicly the large number of good shooters it had is what made me get one instead of a ps3 which i would have bought if it had as many exclusive games as the ps2.
I bought it for COD 2 because I went to Game-a-thon, that's held at my school, and I played that game for about six hours straight. I also bought it for Madden because my original Xbox wouldn't play games at times so I ended up trading it in. I then saw Gears, and was glad that I bought the Xbox 360.
