Halo 3, Red Dead Redemption, and Grand Theft Auto IV. All good music =)

Tales of Vesperia has a cool soundtrack, and so does the BlazBlue series. Street Fighter has some nice tracks, but the best in my opinion is once again, Tales of Vesperia.

GTA IV and Saints Row 2.

Fallout 3/Fallout New Vegas, and Assassin's Creed 2 and Brotherhoodhave my favorite soundtrack.

Was playing Zombies with my friends on Black Ops earlier. My friend did something in game I can't remember what, which triggered an awesome rock song in the background. It really did help with killing the zombies, I felt so cool. I know it's not really a theme song or anything but it seems related.

Yeah, World at War and Black Ops have awesome double-bass rock parts. It doesn't play it near enough, imo.

Mass Effect, Halo and Fable. Those games all have some great music in them that really builds some atmosphere.

Mafia 2 and MW2

I'm going to say Fallout 3 again, but larger.

GTA IV, Mafia 2, Gears of War (any), Halo (any), Mass Effect (any). Whoever said Red Dead Redemption, the sound of the horse running does not count as music.
