Which game series would be automatic buys for you?

If a new game in a series or a sequel to a game you loved came out which ones would be automatic buys for you if you could expect the gameplay to be similar to the previous games.

For example, I love these series enough to consider buying the next game in the series without hesitation:

1. Gears of War
2. Tomb Raider
3. Lost Planet
4. Marvel Ultimate Alliance
5. Mass Effect
6. Resident Evil

What games are you fanatical over?

I become a blind shopper when it comes to Gears of War lol, i payed for my mistake last year with a multiplayer more laggy than DS emulator;)

Tomb Raider, Bioshock, F.E.A.R. and Dead Space. Love 'em, love 'em, love 'em.:D

Anything from Shin Megami Tensei and Tales of. I would say Final Fantasy, but I don't like the Crystal Chronicles games.

Nothing because anything can flop. Though series that i do not expect to flop are COD and Halo but in the end i will wait and sit back to see how things turn out.

agreed GTA 4 was very good twist to the series taking a "realistic" approach, but i'm sure they'll go back to the old rob n' gun formula.;)

Diablo (waiting very anxiously for 3rd...)
