I have both. Its good to have them since there are different exclusives for each. They have their ups and downs on graphics but they are basically the same really. Just get it so you wont miss out on the next great games coming out.

well yeah in that case. you should get it. you should prolly get the 20 gb hdd since ur budget and that it wont affect anything unless u want to be able to have room for 60+ arcade games and demos

well sounds like the 360 fits well. you wont be disapointed, then you will have both and you wouldnt worry about different games coming out :)

20GB's won't slow the system, period. You could have 99% of the HDD filled up and your game experience wouldn't be slower. But you undoubtably won't fill up all 20GB's. If you do however there is the option of buying the 120GB HDD by itself but you will not have to do that.

As for Graphics, the 360 usually has SUPERIOR graphics in games on both 360 and PS3, usually, games like Assassin's Creed and Burnout look indentical. Of course the 360 isn't just about multi-platform games, it currently has the largest library of exclusives both 1st and 3rd party and it looks like the PS3 won't surpass it in exclusives.

nah. it wont affect performance at all. its more like a memory card than a hard drive.

There really is no reason to "wait" for new games because the 360 already has such a healthy library of exclusives, not to mention multi-platform games which are usually superior on the 360 due to the all important Achievements System.

Well, Xbox Live silver accounts are free. Gold is $7.99 a month, $19.99 for 3, and $49.99 for a year. As far as the HDD, it doesnt affect the gameplay any so it comes down to what you plan on doing with the system. If you plan on downloading a lot of demos, and videos the 120GB Elite is the way to go. But I have the 20GB Premium and Im good with that so its up to you. The graphics are the same on the 360 as well. Only thing I reccomend is that if you go with the 20GB Premium model, make sure it was manufactured after September 2007, or ask if the one you are purchasing includes an HDMI port on the back.

Decide which console has more games that appeal to you and make a decision based on that. Never buy anything because of your friends.

I had the 20g Xbox360 and currently have the 120 gig. there is no difference in terms of performance or graphics, just more memory. Honestly, I had the 20 gig and was perfectly happy with it. I traded it in for an Elite after I got the RRD, but Best Buy gave me full value for it so I wasn't that pissed. The 120 gig is kinda cool because I can set everything to 'auto-download' and when I get home from work there's always new stuff (demo's, game videos, xbla aracade games). There are even things on there I haven't even watched or played yet.

ps3 graphics are slitely better but if you get a good hd tv the 360 is the same. i personally like xbox better but it has its negatives. you cant move the xbox while the disc is in. and they reccomend you dont play more than 6 hours straight. but otherwise it has better games. so get it
