Which will get the higher GS score? Mass Effect, or Halo 3?

There are two VERY BIG games coming out this year from Flawless developers.

Bioware: Known from great RPGs such as Bualders Gate, KOTOR (still one of the best rpgs avaible) and Jade Empire. They are now finishing Mass Effect.

Bungie: Is most known internationally for HALO and its sucessor HALO 2, now they are finishing up HALO 3.

Mass Effect: Has been in the works at Bioware for over 3 years, it has next gen dialogue, graphics, story and litteryly an open ended galaxy with over 300 locations to explore.

Halo 3: An upgrade from Halo 2, with next gen graphics and sound.

So... I'm asking which one do you think will get a higher gamespot score? Not which one you like more.

Mass Effect, because its something new. Not saying it will be better or worse, but that's just my opinion.

Ah who cares right now? As long as we enjoy the game, why should we care what scores higher?

But if I had to choose, I would say Halo 3..barely

im going to say they will both get a 9.5/10 from GS

they are looking like 2 perfect games in their respective categories, but i'm sure the .5 that they don't get will be some minor flaws

What's with people using 'next-gen' to describe things? Wouldn't this be current-gen?

Anyway I think they will both score very close, probably 9.5 or 9.0.

thats a good question, but i bet halo 3 will get a 9- 9.5 because of how much better it looks than halo 2, the 4 player co-op, good multiplayer, *supposidly* ending and solid story

Neither. They'll both either get 8.5, or 9.0. I'm starting to dislike Halo and I think Mass Effect will get underrated.

although id prefer mass effect to have the higher rating, i think that gs will give halo 3 a higher one.R3volv3r_Snake

same here, but i liked the detalied review system more.... *cough* bioshock was robbed *end cough*

both games will get easily over 9.0 as for which one, i really dont care im getting both but i have the distinct feeling that mass effect will get like .1 higher. but i dont care. their both xbox 360 games and thats just a bonus for us so im happy. if bioshock can get a 9 then they can get more, bioshock was amazing but i trust bioware and bungie to release better games.thebeardof

Since GS "simplified" the review system, games can't get .1 higher because the scores jump by .5 intervals instead of .1 intervals.
