Who else thinks developers should get rid of single player?

Single player games are so boring after playing online. I haven't played single player in a very long time. I mean who can actually think that offline games are better?

I should have elaborated... you are probably young and into the whole trash talking, shooting other people online but... but eventually you want to come home after a long day at school or work and just sit down and play in comfort without all the andrenaline and little kids yelling back at you.. Therefore, both sp and mp are important.

Put it this way.

If developers just simply "got rid" of single player gaming, I would never play a video game again.

If single player was gone and rid of then Gaming would go down hill. Really though, singleplayer is what started video gaming and sure multiplayer is fun and all but it's not everything there is to a game. If you do find the singleplayer of a game boring after you played multiplayer then get another game to play singleplayer... if you can't do that then just don't play singleplayer on that game. I myself love singleplayer and multiplayer. And yes there are many great singleplayer games out there. The ones I play often are Morrowind, Oblivion, Dead Rising and many more.

sp is needed, what they need to do, is design a game with all the phisics and what not, all the codes, make no single player. or make any multiplayer maps. just the weapons and the tools like a map editor like farcry on some serious crack. and let us make our own maps, they just supply the weapons. and downloadable content.  that would be a great game for multiplayer, no real story or anything just battle..... build your world and try to survive in it.

but to take single player out of all games or even a bunch is ignorant.

I have yet to see a multiplayer game that has a story better than single player games

I have yet to see a multiplayer game that has atmosphere better than a single player game

I have yet to have a single player game annoy me as much as hearing a 12 year old whine or talk gangster like on online games

so lets see... less story, less immersion, more annoying games... no thanks

Which game to you had an interesting story? Most video game stories are as bad as a soap opera with the poor acting and dialog.

How about games with crappy single player and great multiplayer be made into strictly multiplayer games. 

Like Halo 2.

That is really stupid. Still the most users of the consoles and pc's don't use the online feature. So it will stop with gaming for them.Ceglowsk1
