nooooo way! i love my single player.... the stories are amazing and i honestly only play halo and gears online. i am a sucker for great single player. the stories are a major part of a games apeal, and on most games (other than gears and halo) i prefer to play single player.
Oblivion, Kotor, Mass Effect, Bioshock, the Final Fantasy series... these are just a few of the games that do (or will) have awesome single player. I like to relax and enjoy a game without having to deal with random a$$es online. If I could only play MP, I play games much, much less. 80-90% of my video game time is single play or offline co-op.
if they did we wouldnt have games like Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy, Zelda, Oblivion etc.. so no.. playing with a bunch of screaming kids or ppl that mod on games like halo2 isnt as fun as single player games
If developers just simply "got rid" of single player gaming, I would never play a video game again.

you me and the rest of the world. that is the most idiotic thing i have seen on here and i have seen some pretty idiotic things. sp is the whole basis for mp games.... if anything devs need to make more games with co-op. not get rid of something that is the soul of gaming.

getting rid of single player modes would be stupid. multiplayer is fine, but the story element of the games is really told in single player (unless it's co-op). the point of videogaming is to enjoy the story told in a (really good)game.

absolutely not! if you want a game with little or no single player, get battlefield or unreal tournament or something like that. me, i'll take quality single player over online.

You can't be serious? Sure, multiplayer is fun and all, but even a great mutliplayer can never compete with a good singleplayer, let alone a great one... exactly and if that guy should definitely try God of War that game does not need multiplayer to surive nor zelda

No. Single player is the purest form of gaming. It started eveything off. Before their was ever xbox live, before their was ever screaming brats **(probably like yourself)** to put up with, there was a good old single player game of Super Mario.

I buy a game for its single player, online multiplayer is extra.
Think about games your getting rid of Resident Evil Series, Metal Gear Series, Splinter Cell Series, Final Fantasy series. I know what you mean I dont like playing Single Player games that much but when it comes down if it has achievements in it then Im down. But yeah game like CS BF2 and WoW strive over Multiplayer.
