random topic i know but I was just searching around these forums and alot of people seem to have live. I don't. it looks fun but I can't get it to work... I mean my computer is way too far away from the xbox. So do you have xbox live or not?
I don't. I'm just using all those free months when you get a new 360 then I'm done. I might get Live if I can get a 12 month card for cheap. Ebay seems to sell them for less than stores.
I didn't have it for a long time and finally opted to get it. I still end up playing offline most of the time and only jumping on Live when I want a quick match or only want to play for a short period of time.
Well...I should say..I had Live (Silver) access from the day I got the 360..I just didn't have the Gold access until recently. I think getting at least the Silver access going is absolutely invaluable..

my computer setup is in a whole different room ,i bought 100 ft of cat5 ethernet cable, it was worth it
i don't have xbox live because my computer is upstairs and my 360 is downstairs in my room. i don't have the router and the wireless network adapter i would need to set it up.
i dont... wish i did im getting highspeed 1 week from today (friday) so send mea f/r i have alive name cause i play at freinds everyonece ina while so send me f/r friday ill be on 24/7 GEARS!
I don't don't no what I would do without live. I'm not really much of an offline gamer. Either I'm on live or doing Co-Op with my friends. The only offline game I really play are RPGs.
i do but i dont. im waiting on a longer ethernet cable at the mo , and also my connection speed is rubbish so i can only really download stuff. but when we get upgraded ill will be playing games online.
I don't have it yet. If I do get it, I'll have to get the wireless network adapter because the modem/router is upstairs. I had Live for the original xbox and thought it was a lot of fun, so I'd definitely recommend it to anyone. Its $50 bucks, but I don't think it's that bad for a 12 month period. Just look at the people playing WOW. Isn't it like 15 bucks a month? That's $180 a year, and you can only play one game. Nothing against WOW, just trying to put the Live price into perspective.
I have Live - I think there is simply no purpose to playing Xbox 360 without it, though I spend only about 70% of my Xbox 360 time online. My cousin however does not have Xbox Live, saying that he does not believe in it.

i live jsut fine!!! i mean i have gf, im doing good in school, im gettin paid, etc... i can jsut fine witouth xboxlive, yea i do get a 48rs thigns here or there and yea online is very good for replay value, but only foos who have no life whatsoever cant live without xbox live, think bout dat!
i had gold for a month when i first got broadband (shutup :D) because i bought the live vision i now have sliver and will pick up a gold card at some point i dont really play it much, just download demos
