[QUOTE="ColoradoKindBud"]Proof? Link? Anything that proves that H3 doesn't pick up where H2 left off?bolt2448i forget where I read it but it was an official gaming website like Teamxbox maybe. Also Halo Uprising is the comic series if you wanna research that.
How come every time I ask someone to back up something they post with proof or a link, they always say they "forgot" where they read it???
I'm not calling you a liar or anything, but there is nothing on Bungie.net that backs up your claims & I've been around these forums long enough to know that unless you have a solid link proving it, then I won't believe it until I get it directly from the horse's mouth.
The game will not begin right where Halo 2 left off. According to an interview with Brian Bendis of Marvel Comics, the new comic, Halo: Uprising, will take place between the ending of Halo 2, and the beginning of Halo 3.[citation needed] This comic may explain how the Chief got his new armor, and give players a chance to choose their control settings at the beginning of the game, as the previous two did.Thats what I read.
I am, instead they decide to have Marvel make a 4 part comic series bringing us into Halo 3. I really wanted to continue right from where Master Chief says "Sir, finishing this fight!". Now I cant and im upset!.bolt2448
I think this was probably decided because so many gamers were complaining about the alternate story line with playing as teh Coenant Arbiter - by just letting that part of the story finish in the comics, it makes it so they don't have to incorporate it into Halo 3 as part of the gameplay. Personally I liked that part of H2 but most didn't. The developers are just listening to the fans - that's all.
This is totally conjecture - just what I speculate to be the case. :)
