This season of the MLG is going to be sick. First, Halo 3 has the replay feature and that would make replays of crazy plays much more cool. Second, remember what ESPN did to poker? After the world series of Poker started to air on ESPN poker became an international craze. Imagine if it could do the same to Halo and even better, competitive gaming itself.

For the same reason you watch sports (as it is a sport) to see the best players doing what they do best. Also, as an added prize. you can learn a lot of stuff like new jumps new granade tosses new techniquesnew team strategies etc

It will probably be on both... I remember how it used to get silly time slots on off-networks... I watched it once at 2:00pm on the USA network... wtf was that... I don't have a problem with USA network(great shows)... but 2:00pm on a weekday...? wtf is with that?

Yea, true, but the olympics is where all countries gather and test their skill and teamwork, just because its not physical doesn't mean its not a sport..so i don't think Video Gaming Olympics isn't that far fetched

Poker is supposed to be considered a sport.
Well then...point taken. Gaming can be considered a sport as well in the future. Seeing as how gaming does better than the movie business which is a huge business.
