If you are in love with the characters then you probably need mental help, but i guess if you think they are hot then thats kind of ok, i mean alot of video game characters are becoming alot more life like so thinking they are hot is ok, but taking it to the next level is a bit scary. Itt's not silly in my opinion. Just plain out weird. There's a reason for why it's not accepted to the public.
