I dont have it yet but i will soon my friend let me borrow it so im saying ill have it in a few weeks myself im wondering if any1 still plays it alot cause i love that game so much and I think the 2nds gonna blow heads off 2 but aside does any1 play Gears anymore cause i am till hopefully monday
Yes many people still play it. Maybe not as many peopleaswhen it first came out, but you can always find a game no problem. In fact I still play it regularly and ive had it since the day it came out.
I understand that and thats awsome u still play, Gears died kinda after halo3 which sucks by the way Cod4 killed everything which is awsome but I know a lot of ppl play but it ticks me off that I spend 10 min. waiting for ppl to join and I get maybe 1 ur 2 ppl.

QFT. I played H3 for a while,then COD4 for about 2 months, then i couldn't resist going back to gears to play competitively(clans and such).

that may be the only current flaw with Gears now, the fact that when you host a game you gotta wait quite a bit to get people to join. I rmmba back in the days it took me an average of 15-30 seconds to fill up a room. Thankfully, i havnt hosted a ranked game in about a year, cuz i can't wait for that long.

It was tons of fun but I got bored of it too - especially the buggy multiplayer. I'm sure its still played, just not as much.
I've had the game since it's release, and I still play it often. Greatest game ever made in my opinion. I love Gears. Gears 2 will make me cry. J/K. lol... but seriously I can't wait.
My normal group of friends plays pretty regularly in GoW. Most times it's private matches though because there's normally at least 8-12 of wanting to play so there's always at least one full room of guys playing. The game is still highly popular on the xbox live ratings chart too. Just not sure how easy it is to join a public match or not. I haven't played a public or ranked match in that game since its release month.

Theres no way a game like halo 3 will do that to gears...Gears wont die until part two comes out
no point to play, unless you want 10 and 12 year olds yelling obsanities at you at screechingly high piched noises while trying to kill people on gears of war's new "improved" patched multiplayer which is gone to $l-lI7. The game was kcik ass before the first patch, and all the preteens screeming at you.
i stoped playing Gears when Halo 3 came out, everytime i go back to play Gears the Host Advantage thing kills any enjoyment i would otherwise be having.

wow...that sucks...i play wit my friends...so we usually only wait for about 2 or 3 mins cause its 4 or sometimes 5 of us...so all we gotta wait for is 3 or 4 other ppl to come

I hope you realize the amount of little kids has drastically gone down, they migrated to Halo and CoD4. The game has its issues, but its still a blast to play if you're with friends, ranked or player.
