the demo doesnt do it much justice the levels get very intuative and awesome and hard. The game is lots of fun u feel like a genius when u figure out some of the harder puzzles the only downside is its short. also i never got why conan obrien was the main character

Not everyone that hates it hasn't played it.. I own it and have beat it and still think it's garbage.
I didn't think it was stupid, but I didn't really think it was god's gift to gaming like everyone else seems to. Yay, the game has a "deep" meaningful ending. Woopdy do. Wasn't half as fun as many other games I've played and thats where it really counts.

its 2-d, your a little guy, there are killer plants that come out of pipes but other than that its nothing like mario, and as you get through it its pretty damn hard
Braid is awsome for quite a few reasons. First off it has platforming, puzzles, AND narrative. That beats Marios Platformer only design. Is it over-rated? that is a relative term, that is like saying Van Goe is over-rated. Such a statement holds just as much validity as braid being over-rated. I personally found Braid to be the most intriging games of 2008, trumping the entertainment value of every blockbuster of the year at only a $15 price tag. But to each their own.
