Who's excited about ToeJam and Earl?

The results are in from Genesispoll.com. The 16-bit era game ToeJam & Earl will be the next SEGA Genesis Xbox LIVE Arcade game. A poll from SEGA began last week, asking fans to select the next SEGA Genesis game for the Xbox LIVE Arcade, from a list of 7 games. Earthworm Jim was actually in the lead, far ahead of the rest, with ToeJam & Earl being the next most popular game. It would soon be revealed that Gameloft had the license to bring Earthworm Jim to the Xbox LIVE Arcade and other gaming platforms. So although Earthworm Jim had to be pulled from SEGA's Genesis Poll, fans should still be happy that the game is returning soon.

ToeJam & Earl would take the lead, so it becomes the Xbox LIVE Arcade release for the 20th anniversary of the SEGA Genesis. A release date and price has not been announced yet.

Who's exiting about this? It was one of my favourite games on the sega genesis. I for one WILL be getting this.

i would rather have Earthworm Jim, but T&E is cool too

We get both Earthworm Jim and ToeJam and Earl, you could say i'm excited :D. Any news on release dates?

i hated the first TJ&E (mainly cause i didnt understand it)

but ill prolly still get it, hoping that if it does well

I'm definitely going to pick up "Toe Jam & Earl" on XBL, great game for sure........It's just too bad that "Wonderboy In Monster World" & "Revenge Of Shinobi" get no love. Two of the greatest games ever. Hopefully there's a second Genesis collection released with them included.
