why am i not getting into fallout 3?

i loved oblivion, got gears 2 and couldnt put it down....but this game i just...im just not getting into it at all.

i find i keep dieing, taking forever to level up..and well cant get thru the main quest because i keep cnt kill more than one super mutant at a time.

any advise?

1. Lower the difficulty

2. The more you play the more fun it gets (I had the exact same problem until 10 hours in)

3. If you don't pay attention to leveling it will happen faster.

I played on normal and I think after beating the complete main quest, and all but three of the sidequest I died maybe two or three times. How far are you in to the game? If you are just starting out try to avoid the Super Mutants as much as you can because they are terribly hard in the beginning, but later on are very easy even take 4-5 on at one time. I was not too in to the game at the beginning, but about a little less than halfway through I just got totally addicted to the game!Adoxx

Wow, lucky you. The Deathclaws have killed me 4 times apiece in *that one town I won't name because I want them to surprise other players* I think the only appendage they didn't detach from my body was the one in my pants :P

EDIT: Oh and for the record, I've been into the game since I unwrapped the plastic wrap from the box! Over 37 hours clocked and I just finished Tranquility Lane.
