because recommendation threads are not allowed... it says so in the stickymfp16
Hold up - top thread on the page is loaded w/recommondations on what games to get - how is some asking should he get Bully or R6V2 any different?
[QUOTE="chief_527"][QUOTE="barilli71"]Makes no sense to me why gamespot is locking some threads - anyone have a clue why? One that is locked is someone asking if he should get Bully or R6V2 - why would they lock this ?JFRocker
Ok dude right above search topic it says "Read BEFORE posting thread". You as the TC is suppose to read that BEFORE posting a thread so that "we" the users don't have to point it out to you. Unfortunately, people like you are too lazy to read and rather create a thread just like this one and wait for an answer just like this one, but what the lazy people like you don't realized is that, you could have look up the answer before getting a reply to this space consuming thread. Now that you realized that, hopefully, you wont so it again.
Dude, you are too miserable for your own good. Big friggin deal. Either answer his question or keep quiet. Suppose someone read the rules and forgot a condition or let's say they missed something, are you going to jump down their throat? Let's face it, it's not like the Terms and Conditions is a short list.
No dude, it's the truth... the terms and conditions and sticky threads are there for a reason, you are specifically told to read stickys before posting. When the board gets clogged up with non-sense it's not any use to anyone. Imagine coming here and reading 50 threads that say "which game should I get x or y?" and an additional 10 "Who do I call to get RROD fixed?".
By ignoring the stickies you are ruining the board for those here for actually 360 discussion.

Why do you think I'm too miserable? I'm as happy as a lion in a room full of gazelles. I did answer his/her question, just not in the way that he/she wanted. If someone read the rules a forgot a condition, then they should have read it again, if they missed something that means they weren't paying attention. You right is not a short list but is well organized and you can find what you're looking for fairly quickly. Hence, I wrote what I wrote.

i agree, people want to make some smart ass response like blalblablablab its in blank thread, if you dont want to answer the guy then just shut up, dont make some holier than thou remark and talk down to people on an internet forum, i hate when i ask a question and someone is like "it was covered already" if you dont have the answer then dont post
But I did give him/her the answer...
The thread in question was closed because it is a game recommendations thread, and as the stickied threads indicate, there is an official thread for those. Individual game recommendations threads are not allowed.
You ALWAYS need to read the stickies and familiarize yourself with the board-specific rules before you post on a board. If you post a thread that violates the stickes in some way, that thread will be closed and you may be moderated for it.
Finally, questions about why threads are closed are not relevant for this forum. If you have questions about why some moderation action was taken in the future against you, post it in the Ask the Mods board.
