This might seem like a dumb thread, but why did you buy your 360. was it for the games, other features or all of the above. I got mine because I didnt want to fork over 600 bucks for a PS3 when I can get a just as good if not better syestem for 200 dollars cheaper. I also use mine as a DVD palyer and a stereo, because my old one broke, so I jsut took my CDs and downloaded them to my hard Drive, I also use it to watch TV shows I get from Marketplace.
honestly because the PS3 was taking way too much time to come out and the price was nuts $600! But I'm so glad I got it. My friends told me how great it was and I finally listened! One of my best investments ever!
For the games..why else would buy a game system lol.format_kid

for the games, xbl and for the mm features i didnt ever own one untill my brother and a friend of mine said that i should get one bc there is some games i would like. and they where right. i have 12 games 10 xbla games.
i used to play pc games and gc games (still own the gc) witch is just sitting around now. my bro plays mario party here and there though. i have owned my 360 since the 1st of augest 06 and havnt regreted it ye.
I figured, you can't be a respectable gamer without killing zombies with 2x4's.... So pretty much for games like Dead Rising and Blue Dragon (b/c i love RPG's)........
Well, I was a HUGE PS2 fanboy. I was so excited when I heard about the PS3. When the Xbox 360 first came out, I couldn't have cared less. But when I heard the PS3's price tag was going to be $600, I wasn't going to spend that kind of money on something like that. And then Gears of War come out. I was sold. That, along with some of the other titles out there, was really the best choice. I, also, thought the XBL would be better then the PS3 because Xbox has had a bit more 'wisdom' in that area. The only thing I didn't like, at the time, was the fact that the 360 didn't have a good flight Sim (not that that's the only reason for buying a console, but it's nice to have) but with Ace Combat 6 jumping ship, it's the best console imo, of course, that's just me.
I originally wanted PS3 and just about 2 months ago I decided, I don't like where Sony is going. Microsoft also gives you much more choice in accessories along with more and better games. Oh yeah, and one of the biggest reasoons was because GTA 4 came to the 360, and once I found that out, it sold me.Â
My old xbox broke so i replaced it with the 360, and i have to say it was a waste of 279.99 pound, or about $400 i think.
It is a aweful waste of money as far as i can see, although i havent had it long so i might change my mind, but, a xbox is only 80pound now, a bargain.
well, i got it for the games. I wanted a PS3 because of the controller and graphics but it was so damn expensive. Now i kinda want a PS3 and always question myself if i made the wrong choice because the PS3 is stealing all of the 360's games. IT FUC KING GOT OBLIVION!!!!!!! i don't know.... maybe i'll get a wii too so i can have awsome graphics, games, and motin sensing.
Honestly I didn't plan on buying a 360, its just that I was so impatient that I wanted a next gen console and the 360 was the only one out so I went and bought it. In the process I realized that the 360 was the better system. I still plan on getting a PS3(gonna need a job to afford it) but Im still a little more of a microsoft fan now.
At first I didnt have an intresting in buying one to be honest. But then I started to try out some of the games on the shop display consoles and really enjoyed the Kameo demo. Then I found myself looking at the games more on gamespot and when going into shops.
One game that really caught my eye why doing this was Condemned. Then I ended up having enough Birthday money left to get a 360. So I decided to get one.Â
