Why do people hate kids on Xbox

Well first you are ignorant, second i have a feeling a whole lot of hate is coming your way in this forum

Unfortunatly for you, it is the kids who were there before you. You have to pay for their mistakes.

For example. Today while playing a match on CoD 4, there was a kid who had to announce everything that he did. Things like "Ima shoot dat guy in da face!" And "Look at da pretty smoke grenade." Just stupid stuff like that. It was not that he was saying things, because we all like a good joke every now and then, but the kid would not shut up. When asked kindly to simmer down, the kid retorted with the usual go *bleep* yourself. And you mother etc.

Now I have played with kids who know how communicate, use their mics as tools, and are generaly mature and cool folks. But the vast majority of kids are as I described above. Sadly your just going to have to grin and bear it. But look on the bright side. When you grow up and hit 17 or 18, you can start to complain about kids on XBL. Sounds fun huh?

well I used to think its okay for kids to use XBL but not until one of them lil demons filed a complain for trash talking becuse I caled him stupid ( AND THE LIL DEVIL CALLED ME A SON OF A@!@@# )

This is why many people do not like kids on XBL.

Kids usually won't shut up. They're yelling, whining, and trying to talk trash. Now, I've had kids ony Halo3 team that were awesome, that's kool. I just don't want to hear your or anyone's squeeky voice screaming on XBL.

Yeah, kids are annoying on Live. "Kids" are generally anyone under 18. Some reasons for this include:

• Kids are immature. You can say that many kids aren't immature, but a lot of them are, and a lot is enough. In most cases, when someone's being incredibly obnoxious, it's a younger person. When someone's swearing constantly, telling "your mom" jokes constantly, or giving a bizarre running commentary on the game, it's a kid. I don't have any research data to back this up, but I imagine most people here will agree with me.
• When kids are immature, they stand out over all the other immature people, because of their high-pitched voices. Anything annoying is always more annoying when it's loud and high-pitched...like a kid's voice.

If you are a kid, and this upsets you, consider the following:

• In a few years, you will cease being a kid, and this will no longer be a problem for you. The passing of time will 100% fix this problem.
• Keep your in-game comments relevant and professional. You may be criticized for being young, but you won't be criticized for being young and stupid.

Regarding other issues here, I think kids should be allowed to play M rated games. I don't see what happens between 15 and 19 that makes someone magically able to handle simulated violence/profanity/sex. It depends on the person to a large degree, and the authority best able to determine this are parents, for their own children whom they know so well, not the government with a blanket policy.

i hate listening to anoying kids talk. I'm 28 so i've been an adult for a little while now. all my friends are the same age as me too. so I purposely dont hang out at the mall anymore for that reason.

but hey if im playing a game online i dont care how old the kid is if they can play and dont talk trash in a high-pitched voice.

considering most the games i like happen to have a mature rating, so it makes sense that if I go online, I will play with other adults. of course thats not the truth. but really, ive been gaming for a while, so i know that people are going to play whatever games they want regardless of the rating. stores like gamecrazy dont really card kids before buying games. and theres always amazon.com and ebay too.

edit: at least when i go to the bars idont have to hear the little kids talking in one ear. haha

simply put...if I am playing a mature rated game I want to play with other mature adults, not some annoying kids who think they are cool because they cuss.

If kids want to play on live thats fine, but it should be allowed with other kids only. I wish M$ would set up an option that would only allow you to play with adults. Their would still be annoying people but it would be cut down alot.

if a child plays anygame rated mature they should be thrown in prison for the rest of their lives and their families should be shot

I tell children to get off the game, as they shouldn't have the game. A 13 year old shouldn't be playing COD4, Turok, Gears, or Halo. Rock Band is alright for you though. Also, it seems like the majority of them swear, just because they can. A child shouldn't be talking as such, though that also applies to the rest of the Live crowd.

I don't know why people feel the need to spout insults, cuss words, and other foul language at every opportunity. Vent should be used for squad coordination, calling out enemy positions and such, though I can accept general banter about games, life, and the such at times.

There is a reason people like us (im 16) aren't allowed to purchase such games. Then again, many 13-15 year olds are mature. im the same age as u i am mature when lil kids wont be quiet i just dont talk and then i turn music up loud and it drowns them out

2. ur 13, and most games that involve the words "nice kill" are M for mature (17+)

WEll I'm 15, and I hate people that are about 11.

For example, today i'm playing Big Team Battle on H3.

This little american kid goes "Oh for gods sake do you not have any skill?!"

He had 3 kills. i had 23, and was the highest scoring player in the game.

Thats why I hate little kids.
