My issue with the whole thing is that I've seen some stupid situations that my friends have been a part of. I've seen my friend take a clip of ammo into him in R6:V and then he'll fire 3 shots at someone and kill them. Now I'll give you that he aims for the head most of the time but I find myself unloading into people (in bursts to increase accuracy) and they shoot me once and I'm done. I don't understand why and maybe someone can enlighten me. I also think that Attack and Defend could be really fun on other maps but no one tries it. I've seen so many people who are hosting setting up the gear to guarantee that they win. I love doing terrorist hunt with a group of friends because we do get tactical and that's fun but I find most people I know and that I see playing playing A&D on the casino which just gets really boring.

Vegas is more realistic and has more weapons and levels to offer than Halo 2. Halo 2 is still a lot of fun and I still play with my friends who don't have Vegas though. The cover system in Vegas is great, most of the levels are very well laid out and the game modes are fun, especially some of the new ones from the map packs. I think the main reason I like it more than Halo 2 is because its just something different than running around using no cover or strategy and unloading as much ammo as you can on a guy before he dies. I've played Halo 2 for years and I've gotten pretty good at it but I just needed something different. I will admit though, after using a Scout Tatical (sniper rifle) during any number of matches sniping in Halo 2 just doesn't do it for me, maybe its because theres no way in hell a sniper should be running full speed at someone zoomed in trying to kill his target. So in my opinion, Vegas is the best multiplayer game out for the 360 right now, but to each his own...

It's awesome because of the amount of tactics and team work it requires. Now don't get me wrong I love Halo online, but let's face it all it is, is run & gun. Now when playing R6:V online it may be hard at first because to really enjoy it you need a serious team and people you can play with and communicate. So once you find a good group of people to play with and a nice clan it will be amazing trust me. More online games should require teamwork like this. Instead of one man armies with 12 year olds spamming the mic.

R6V is fun but it fails against games like GOW, Halo.

ONLY and i'll repeat only because everyone seems to just play A&D on CC and nothing else. There are so many game types yet the only ones that are played are A&D and Sharpshooter. People need to mix it up and it'll be really good.

[QUOTE="Firestorm10"]I like the level of customization of your character, the tactics involved in the game, and how the weapons are well balanced (except the sniper rifles feel too weak and the XM is too good)kevy619

How is it not as good as gears online? Perhaps it's not as good for you, but the online portion of Vegas MUCH more deep and customizable over Gears.

Ya it is certainly good, not as good as Gears online, and not even in the same league as Halo.

Nobody has said what is good about Vegas... Its most likely that you can kill people even if you suck, Halo and Gears dont allow that to happen...

OK...sure...I think the same, as I load up my shotgun and own everybody cuz i'm host in Gears...

What's so good about Halo? It was the first FPS on XBOX. If a game that is as good or even better, you all bash it case you're obsessed with halo. I don't suck at halo, just find it very boring, it takes forever to kill someone and it's very slow paced compared to games like UT and Timesplitters. I used to play SOCOM on ps2, and i was obsessed with it, due to it's real-ness. Rainbow Six reminds me a lot of SOCOM, outside of the fact that it's an FPS and not a third person shooter. But Rainbow Six is probably the best game made on the 360, outside of The Darkness, but yet again, I have never played multiplayer on the Darkness.

Also, this is just MY opinion.

umm... its 10 times better then halo but your right its not better then unreal.

How is it ten times better than Halo? Rainbow Six feel pretty simplistic in comparison.

Wow, I dont even really like RSV, but how is RSV even remotely simplistic compared to Halo, Halo is the most simplistic boring game I've ever played.

P.S. I wasnt bad at Halo, and I know thats what all the Halo fanboys like to say when someone doesn't like it, but I was decent at it.

Halo 3 and Rainbow Six are two very different styles of shooters. I suppose, Rainbow Six could be called "The Smart Persons shooter" in the fact, you need to use cover, work as a team, communicate with one another, especially in Attack & Defend or Kill the VIP mode. The multiplayer value in this game is INCREDIBLE. The amount of hours you put into it is frightning.

I've often put in maybe 7 or 8 hours at a time into playing Rainbow Six online. It took me months to finish the campaign mode cause the multi player is so addictive. I was just in a fortunate position where the library I worked at burnt down (Faulty wiring) and the lady I worked with lost her job, but... she was retiring anyway. I got to keep my job because I had the most computer knowledge so I was working and cataloging from home and being paid at the same time :)

Halo to me looks more... get in the thick of things, shoot what you can before you get shot yourself... I suppose it boils down who you're playing with, but it's much more in your face. I enjoyed Call Of Duty 3, so I hope to enjoy Halo 3 when I get it. Hopefully it will have a better system than Halo 2, that match making is confusing.

Here's a question, people who played the beta, will their data still be there for when they get their hands on the final game?

it sounds like your into multiplayer fps games that are higher paced. Rainbowsix vegas was a more or less realistic type of shooter. whoever pops their head out first dies sort of thing.

Just not your flavor is all.

I find it very nice with the exception of the bullet lag due to the U3 engine.

Nobody has said what is good about Vegas... Its most likely that you can kill people even if you suck, Halo and Gears dont allow that to happen...

on vegas if you go against a skilled player they will drop you in one shot.. and anyone can get kills in gears and halo you can take the most retarded noob ever and get him to host on gears and he will get atleast some kills or on halo just use the BR..

the Halo BR actually takes some skill...i can hit a headshot every time with the BR

also...in Rainbow Six, it takes a TON of skill. As you said...a skilled player (i consider myself one) can drop a player in one or two shots. The key is to shoot in bursts, and get good at aiming at the head. Noobs usually just spray and pray with Submachine guns, and usually dont hit anything.
