[QUOTE="jad206"]While Singleplayer RPG's have their place, sometimes you just want to play with your friends. For me COD4 is one of the best multiplayer games EVER. You get into matches fast, and team up with your friends, and just have fun. Trust me, if Mass Effect 2 allows for me and two friends (or one) to travel around a galaxy together, I'll be spending a TON of time with it. The problem is, RPG's tend to not offer that multiplayer, friend interaction that games like COD4 can right now.i think they need to play real game not games that are easy to be good at. i would take a singleplayer RPG over COD or Halo anyday(or gears of war one :D)

Gears of War one entertains me more then COD i mean common even that really bad game(i think its called gears of war 2) is better IMHO
[QUOTE="hobo290"]and yet its in your sig as a game your currently playing :P The only reason people say they arent for hardcore gamers is because they are huge hits. Ask anyone if Call of Duty was a casual game before CoD4 came out and they'd have laughed at you. And if you told someone that Rez was for casual gamers they'd disagree even though one analog stick and one button is all that is required to play and can be beat in less than two hours.Because they're easy games to get into, and not for "real" hardcore gamers...

That would be so awesome. :Done of the dumbest things ive ever heard...Because they're easy games to get into, and not for "real" hardcore gamers...

It seems like everytime I play these games, people are playing online too. The servers are always in use and just about everyone I know owns CoD and Halo.
So what's with all of the love?
What do you think about it when you hear people raving about either of these games?
Everybody loves mulitplayer shooters.I culdn't have said it better myself. What could be better than playing KOTOR, Fable, Elder Scrolls, or Mass Effect? I could play games like that forever.i think they need to play real game not games that are easy to be good at. i would take a singleplayer RPG over COD or Halo anyday(or gears of war one :D)

im curious as to what you are insinuating with this comment...I think everyone loves them because the games love them back.
