Why do you dislike/hate COD MW2?

I know this sounds a lil petty, but if there is one thing that I cant stand about MW2 is how the stupid loses add up so damn quickly. I don't like it when the connection gets disrupted and that counts as a lost! AND I don't like it when I'm inserted into a game, its almost over and its completely one sided...and to top it off, I'm on the losing team! That is SO annoying. But I'm curious about the other haters...What are some other reasons to why ppl cant stand MW2?

overpowered killstreak rewards...

I have yet to play it but I want to pick it up for the sp mode not into the online mode

The game is decently addicting and quite fun but no where near as brilliant as CoD4.

Bad spawn points

Over-done air support

Mass amounts of campers

Some of the perks are cheap/noobified

Toobers

Some of the maps are too big/poorly designed

SMG are nurfed

And the biggest problem is the disgusting community full of annoying clans and rude little kids.

With all this said, it's a decently enjoyable game and the campaign is epic.

Did I mention anything about leaderboards or personal stats? No I didn't. I don't know too many people who like to lose(unless your a Cub fan)but maybe you do! Matter of fact, I do enjoy the game...its tons of fun but it gets really old when you pile up a 5, 6, or 7 game losing streaks so easily. Thats all Im saying...and thats why I kinda hate MW2. You say the game has some fatal flaws but you fail to mention any of them...

Pretty much all of this. I can't stand playing the online. Campaign was decent and Special Ops was a nice little something extra. Every once in awhile I give the multiplayer a chance and get immediately destroyed by airstrikes, random rocket launchers launched into bases (in Headquarters pro), campers, and lobsided games where I'm inserted onto the team that's already being crushed. It's just hard to get into this game if you haven't been playing alot. I guess it's no different with any shooter where there is a learning curve, but I found MW2 most annoying with all the random deaths from above and all the killstreak stuff (since when you start out you get almost none of that, I only ever put about 20 hours into it).

I really don't like deathmatch or team deathmatch type games all that much anyway. I find them pointless. But I like playing Rush mode in Bad Company 2 because of the attack/defend dynamic and the team play (even if you don't have a clan or play with randoms, there is good "unspoken teamwork" in Bad Company 2, at least on PS3). Plus in Bad Company 2 you don't have to worry about hearing all the annoying morons that are out there, all you can hear are your squadmates.

Mainly - the community. So many cheap players, and the game overall doesn't really require any sense of teamwork or strategy.

Seriously, some of the abilities and weapons in this game are downright ridiculous. And pretty much all of the akimbo weapons are ridiculously overpowered, too.

Naw, I didn't say anything about how I was concern about my win/loss ratio. I just dont like it when my game disconnects or when I enter a game and its completely one sided. Stuff like that happens too often in MW2.

If it wasnt for the ACR, I wouldnt play MW2...the overall feel for the game in the multiplayer moves to fast. Maybe thats just me but I prefer Halo over MW2 any day.

ColdBlooded is your friend.

Because IW don't care, there are so many problems, and they still claim their game is faultless.

The fact that all call of duty games have fallen short of the mark due to vehicles etc. and every cod which has flopped has been because of vehicles, and yet they don't even put in a guns only playlist.

And cold blooded is not an excuse for overpowered killstreaks, the person who gets killstreaks gets the most kills, full stop, unless the entire enemy team has cold blooded, which is not going to happen due to the necesity of stopping power.

Predator missiles are a guarantied kill. and chopper gunners and ac130s can easily kill those with cold blooded. the spawn system will then spawn friendlies without cold blooded around you and you around them, voiding the perk.

you then die because someone on the enemy team got 4 kills across 4 rounds in S&D, and got an AC130.

If you think that is fair, then, well...

The respawns are basically broken and domination on Terminal is broken. There is no reason to respawn the enemy ten-feet away from point A. I also think most of the maps are terrible. I thought it was fun for a while but I can't stand it anymore.

I dislike MW2 cause it takes the whole xbox 360 community.

While games like super street fighter 4 and blur cant even top the 2000 that makes me sad, cause the game isnt that many better then any other games.

I think its a solid game but a bit too overrated mainly by the fake killstreaks..

It's too good. Actually Wasteland sucks hard. Or I just suck at it.

The community...just like with every other online game...i buy the game because it's rated M...Mature..as in 17+..then when i go online my ears are assaulted with the sound whiny little children complaining about being killed...they don't do anything that makes sense...as an example..the NPCs in Red Dead Redemption use more commonsense and work together in cohesion...far superior than the children.... they don't know how to work together...aggravate other players on purpose...bungle the simplest of tasks..camp and make the game unenjoyable as a whole...

Arent there campers in every online multiplayer game? Campers will never go away, no matter what the game is. But another flaw about MW2 has to be the matchmaking system...many games are very one sided....

All good hopes, but turns out it could do better.

there isnt much about mw2 i can hate.....im kinda a noob my self...but after more practice I should get better....oh yea.....I do hate when little kids or grown men call me s*** just because I die alot.....

Spec Ops was cool but the MP is the posterchild to all developers of why a beta is a MUST for multiplayer games.

I enjoy playing MW2 but there are things I dont like such as

shotguns

stuns or flash grenades

comando

sit rep

bad host selections

little kids (why even bother putting an age rating on the game little kids will always get it)

Another thing that I cant stand is how some players can get 30, 40, 50 kills easily in some games. I wouldnt consider that player good...he would be just lucky. Now if he/she did that in Halo then thats more respectable. Its not too often you see someone reach that milestone in Halo...

well, i must say first, im a fan of the game, i dont care about boosters, they're easy to stop (in ricochet rules just get between them[riot shield boosters])
i dont like people who lag hack when you get a kill streak above 15 so that you dont get a nuke

It's full of little whiny kids, and he maps are so small that if you move more than 5 metres you are likely to bump into at least 300 different people, and that sucks out any kind of team or skill factor IMO. That and its a game for people with ADHD. :p

that's what i hate the most. you spawn right after you die and you either get naded or a pred missile murks you =p
