Someone should calculate the ratio of "why does everyone hate mw2?" threads. I reckon they show up maybe once every 2 weeks.

b.) terrible hacks
c.) terrible amount of cheaters
d.) way to many perks which unbalance the gameplay

Are you kidding me? I have about 13 or 14 days on mw2, I finally got COD4 back from my friend yesterday, and I instantly remembered how much of a better game it was.

Probably because MW2 deserves to be hated on. Everyone online is either cheating or camping,

Also, those 10th prestiege lobbies, Activision isn't stopping them, probably because they make money from, well, if they do get the money form the 1200 ms points cards. MW2 isn't a game, it's for people to go and either buy their way into higher ranks or boost their way into it. It's a f***ing disgrace.

This guy said it well. In addition, if you played cod4 for years, which was an amazing game, plus every other major title in the series then MW2 is just tired and repetitive. The formula hasn't changed really at all for the single player. The mp for cod4 was amazing and fresh, but see his list for how they completely botched that for mw2.

This is how I break it down. People that play gametypes where you instantly respawn, and ONLY play those gametypes, hate the game moreso than others. For example, in a gametype like Goundwar, you are constantly respawning, anyone can have a chance for a nuke, and killstreaks will be going off like crazy because people are constantly dying; it's a fast paced game. However, if you play a game like hardcore S & D, which is what I play, it's much more slow paced and you have to really think and not just run and gun, since it's mostly one hit one kill. There are no nukes in it either so people can stop *&$#@ing about that. Then we get these people that go from A (ground war) to B (hardcore) and instantly hate it because they die so easily now, even though the aspects of the game they've previously complained about are almost completely void in this new gametype. What it comes down to in the end is people's constant dissatisfaction of anything and everything. That thrown in with the obvious people that just automatically jump on the hate bandwagon because they have no thought process of their own.Ghost_702

This, or they could just play Team Tactical and have 4 on 4, or barebones if they complain about kill streaks.

Forgive me fo my rapid typing .. apparently I did make a typing mistake sorry for that..so to make it much more clear to you the question was "Why do ppl hate "Call of duty -Modern warfare 2" ??

U see the thread more than once a week .. but have u taken the time to comment whats wrong with the game &why ppl hate it ?? and if yes u did earlier U don't need to comment here again bragging about ppl's spelling ..ignorance is bliss ..take it that way ..u commenting here would neither help me with my answer..yes I'm too lazy to search back the older threads coz I don't log in to gamespot regularly like many ppl do.

I rented it and played the campaign. $4 for 4 hours of gameplay was fine for me. :P

Its noob friendly, has glitches and problems that are yet to be resolved.. Overall a terrible experience. What they talked about between COD4 and MW2 baffles me.

i agree it is very noob friendly. but the campaign was awesome :)
