My favorite games for the original XBOX were halo 1 and halo 2, both KOTOR games, and mech assault, and yet of those only halo has been brought to the 360. Can anyone elaborate as to why this is?
not every game has the fan base to support a sequel, bth in the case of KoTOR wich proved pretty popular bioware is doing not a direct sequel, instead an MMO set in the Old Republic, and for Mech Assasult I hadnt had the chance to play it, other games I would like to play a new Battlefront, or a sequel of Black
theres a KOTOR 3 in the works its going to be a subscription MMO. but just because a game come out on the previous system means no gurantee theres a follow up on the after systems. was there a sequel to mech on the original xbox??? coz it was quite a early game i think. it probally wasnt the commerical success they need for a massive budget needed to make a game on the 360 these days
Some of these games dont have the story, fanbase, or innovation for a next gen release. Also not every publisher is thinking sequel becuase their game sold well; the do a project and move on to something else.
I wanna see BC, it was a Peter Moly(Lionhead) project, basically about being a tribe on prehistoric earth. Also would like to see another AREA 51, it was actually kinda cool.
