If you've read anything about the game you would know. Where to start. How about the dynamic AIs and the way they interact with each other? Or how about the modified weapons? Or the story? Or the graphics? Or how about the plasmids? And the fact that it might actually require a brain to get through the game? I dunno, seems like a pretty awesome game to me.
You can start by reading why System Shock 2, the game that Bioshock is the pretty much the sequel to, was given one of the "Greatest Games of all Time" awards by GS.
Bioshock is pretty much System Shock set in an underwater city rather then a space-ship, plus plenty of new features and a just a more immersive game in general.
Personally I don't think it will revolutionise FPS's either. Not that it's not a great looking game but it doesn't seem to do much that hasn't already been done in Deus Ex and System Shock. If you've never played any of those games before then it may seem revolutionary but these developers have been making games like this for a long time.
Because the developer and maybe even the publisher seem to be pushing it so hard. I read about this in PC Gamer, it is expected to be a really big PC game, not so sure about the 360 version, might not have the power like the PC version. In any event, seems like a good game, not sure about being revolutionary.
i dont think its going to revolutionize FPS's but its def. going to be one of the nastiest FPS's out there for a while. the game looks absolutely amazing imho. cant wait.

I'm going to have to agree. I watched the trailers and I thought to myself "meh." The graphics are sweet but the gameplay itself looked kinda chunky. I don't care for creepy kids, either :(
