I've played through all of them numerous times and to me the COD games seem more violent as far as the violence in it, and neither game has sexual parts or anything that would seem like a M rated game, and Halo doesn't even have red blood.So how is Halo considered more violent than COD?

i think it might have something to do with COD's quotes about the negatives of war.....just a thought

Even if Halo's blood isnt red, its still fluid pouring out of the body. COD barely has any blood, while Halo has blood spilling out on the ground. Thats pretty much why.

Well things like just how you can shoot a helmet off and then shoot someone right in the head how realistic it is makes it more violent then antime i've ever killed an enemy in Halo.

Ah the ESRB can be funny that way sometimes. I don't really pay attention to the ratings anyway since I am aware of what the game is about and its content although that wouldn't matter because I am old enough to buy M rated games anyway.

you should probably ask the ESRB since they are the ones who rate the games, no one in here would know

:::ATTENTION:::

Recently Harry Kendall IV, a pharmacist at the local bank, was involved in a serious toaster incident.

Unfortunately, he had to be rushed to the hospital to intensive care due to severe third degree burns. But you mine as well know that the toast was rescued.

Yesterday, Harry was being moved to his new room on the third floor of the hospital, but the elevator suffered a major malfunction and it plummeted to a horrible fate.

Luckily, the aid that was moving Harry around is still in tact, but sadly Harry was lost his arms and legs because of his awfully horrific luck.

As of now, he is back at home, but he relies on boy scouts to feed him his soup for brunch, and girl scouts to prepare his dinner and dessert.

He also used to be fond of playing Rainbow Six Vegas frequently, but due to the loss of his major limbs, he now has to navigate his way around the Xbox 360 controller while only using his eyelashes. (sometimes his short intestine must be removed because his level of excitedness reaches a point of disaster)

If you have any soul at all, and are touched by the slightest human suffering, you will not object to helping this poor man in his time of need. A charity has been created for Harry Kendall so that one day he will have enough money to buy himself a nice pair of robotic arms and wooden legs.

So please donate 12 cents to the Harry Kendall Association Foundation for the Better Living Standards of Toaster Accident Victims. (KHAFBLTAV)

halo has a lot of red blood if you play it online. cod3 doesn't squirt blood all over the walls like halo does. but i do think cod2/3 have more blood right at the moment of being shot, while halo has a longer impression. dunno.

Halo 1/2 has alot more blood, in Call of Duty 2/3 there is little to no blood. Games that are rated M has quite a bit of gore, and scariness.
