Yeah it is unfortunate that it's that priced for 20$ on the MP, but it's more unfortuante that that's the realistic price since that's how much it costs on PC. Shame.
No, 1600 points is a fair price.gamerfreak1991Pfft! I'm having a blast with Castle Miner Z and it was only 240msp

/threadIt's more expensive on the PC.
If anything you should be asking why isn't it 2000 MSP.

it cost like 25+ for pc lol. You should be thankful microsoft or minecraft dev didn't want more.
IF you had issue with the price you should nab it for $1 when it was in beta lol. it started out at $1 and everytime they updated the gamje the price went up
Not that I care one way or another, but people are comparing the WRONG PC game. this game IS NOT, the same as mincreaft is on pc. I understand and can obviously understand people saying the game is great and that it is worth the money regardless. And to that end I agree. but this excuse that the PC version is more is to compare apples to steaks. The 360 edition is actually based on the pc BETA version of the game that was over a year ago. As a result you will see that some things in minecrat today are missing in this version. perhaps that is justifiaction for a lower price but to say people are getting a bargain based on the PC versions cost is simply ignorant.

The price is the price because Notch is a boss!! We should be thankful that the game exists at all on XBLA. The developer is as indie as it gets and he can dictate the price or Xbox can miss out on a sweet game.
As for the release being the PC Beta... I heard that is changing with a future update. I originally questioned getting it but once I got on my friend's map and started working with him on projects, it solidified any questions I had prior to purchasing.

If you disagree with the price, then don't buy it. I could personally find the difference down the back of the couch.

I think the price point being at 1600 was all Microsoft's doing, I think if it were up to Notch and all the guys at Mojang it would've been significantly cheaper. You have spare Microsoft points down the back of your couch?:shock:If anything you should be asking why isn't it 2000 MSP.

The PC version is 27 bucks. The XBLA version is ALREADY discounted. What more could you want? There is an incredible amount of high quality content contained within Minecraft XBLA. It's priced fine at 20 bucks. I would venture to say that, given the wild popularity of Minecraft, Notch had a lot of sway in how he wanted to get the game onto XBLA, hence why Minecraft will be allowed far more updates than the average game, something MS almost never allows.
Minecraft just became the most successful XBLA launch of all time priced at 20 bucks. I'd say the price was perfect. I bought the game day one on xbox and I love it.
