Why no Counter Strike for 360?

The xbox 360 owners will soon be abe to get a boxset that includes Half life 2 and a number of other add ons but Counter Strike will not be one of them add ons. My questions is why not make counter strike (arguably one of the best first person online shooters) for the 360?

Ihave half life 2 for my pc and i have wasted countless hours playing counter strike source, ussually swearing because someone snipped me and got a headshot! Iwas justwondering why dont they make the game for the 360, have like 16 players total which is 8 on each team. They could take inspiration from Halo 3 beta by having the teams talk to each other but only after the match is over and the team players are only able to spectate their own team mates. The match making system from Halo 3 would be good as well because it would stop the new players from getting in the way of the more experienced players.

Ive played some online shooters for the 360 including Far Cry, Prey, GRAW, Gears of Warand Call of Duty 3 but none of them came close to Counter Stike. Maybe im just ranting on about nothing but the xbox 360 is a great console with some good online capabilities so why not have a great online shooter for the console as well?

Why do people still play CS :? Countless shooters out now are better, yet people seem fascinated with this mod. A lot of people don't even play source! I mean come on guys, move on.

And to answer your question, you can pick up CS for the Xbox and play that on the 360.

I for one agree with the TC i do want to see a next gen or at least the same source engine being used to make a new cs for the 360

and btw do people still play the cs for the xbox? im talking about online...i would guess a few or maybe no one plays it now...

but hey i found people playing rainbow six lockdown online so yea.. i could be wrong

there are greater fps, but counter strike is sick, and i agree they should release it for the xbox 360

I agree that there are much better shooters than Counter-Strike, but it was fun while it lasted.
