I personally really like the 360. I do agree that some of the downloadable stuff is too expensive but I don't buy movies and stuff online anway. I think it is kinda foolish to buy a movie that you can only watch on your xbox. But that is just my take on it. All of them are greedy. But I do think MS has made some mistakes. At first, they had no HDMI jack on the console. How can you have an HD gaming experience without HDMI? Also they guessed wrong on HD DVD. This one is going to hurt them since Sony not only has Blu Ray, but has it built into their system. I don't know why MS can't have a built in Blu Ray player. I don't want a seperate Blu Ray drive that I cannot thru USB. That is really stupid. Build it into the system. Besides that, I am fairly happy with having a 360. I like it much better than that goofy Wii and PS3.

I have had my 360 since launch. Well, a 360 since launch that is. I am on my 3rd console which never really bothered me too much because I always get an in store protection plan so I don't have to deal with shipping it back. I also saw my Elite burn out on me last month and had to get that replaced. My launch lasted longer than my elite. Haha. I picked up a PS3 last weekend mainly because we wanted Blu-Ray and it seemed like the smartest option. Plus it unlocks all of PS3's exclusives in the future. All in all I am very happy with my purchase. I know the controllers are still the same, sans rumble that is, but they feel very familiar which isn't all that bad. The graphics are great and Blu-ray looks amazing. Any game released for both systems I get for 360 like many others due to online. The only thing I really hate about the 360 is that I get the feeling that if I stare at is the wrong way it will die. I feel more confident in the PS3. Anyways, I think they are both great systems with their own strengths and weaknesses.

i'm still deciding which to get, and i can't really say the ps3 has my attention...

the blu-ray is nice and all but honestly, i don't think it's going to win the format war anytime soon, seeing how the average-joe cant really afford $500+ for a blu-ray player, let alone shelling out another $1200 for a full 1080p HDTV.

the main reason i'm probably going to stick with the 360 elite, is because of all the exclesive games for it, the bigger hardrive, and just the fact that my friends can bring over all their 360 crap and throw another tv in my room and have 8 people play at once.

i also still can't get over the fact that sony decided to go with those horrible controllers.

giving up the vibration function for a crappy built in battery and a half-assed motion sensor???

i just think that sony could have done so, so much more with the opportunities given to them. and it doesn't really help the ps3 in any way that MS starting throwing 65nm chips and a better, more simplified heatsink in the 360. not to mention the fact that 360 elites come with an HDMI cable, which would otherwise cost $50-75. i remember playing my friends old 360 and it was loud, and eventually got the RROD, but then he got one of the newer, 65nm 360 elites, and it's much quietter and stays cooler.

but overall, a nice little thing to do if you wanna have a 360 elite (or ps3 if you prefer) and the full 1080p without shelling out your college fund then just get a nice little 22" HD computer moniter with an HDMI hookup.

I like the interface... The console looks real good(i really dont like the PS3's look, maybe when they re-design it, i'll pick one up)...

I also got it for a deal... most of the games I want are coming out for it and just one taste of XBL is enough to get you hooked...

Banjo-Kazooie 3. :D But I liked the fact it had backwards compability, wasn't as expensive, had a much wider choice of games, and the Achievements.
