Halo 3 has better multiplayer. yup i said it, i really think perks are retarded and its not because i'm bad at it i have a KDR of like 1.42
CoD4 beats Halo3 in campaign, story, and graphics however.

COD4 all the way....even in the multiplayer aspect...its more tactical not a shoot em up typexxgameheadxx
How in the world is COD4 tactical? R6V:2 is tactical heck even TF2 is more tactical than COD4.

How? People are just rushing out and getting shot. At least in Halo 3 you can use your teammates to help you kill people. In Cod4 it takes like 5 bullets to kill someone. One guy helping you can keep each other alive for a long time. In COD4 it's far too easy to shoot and kill people with barely anytime to even fire back if any. If the person can aim it'll take like two seconds to die but in Halo 3 you have time to react.
Although yes i know mostly in Halo 3 all you get are little kids that think they can take on the whole world without a team on their side which very rarely works. At least sometimes you get to have some intelligent people or with some smart friends whom you can plan attacks with or assist you.
Both of them are "tactical," I suppose. Most people run-and-gun these days. If anything, the killcam takes so much tactic out of COD4, it's less tactical than Halo 3. I do agree with you that Halo 3 has some reaction time, but does that also discount from it being tactical? A tactic is essentially a plan - an effective strategy that enables your squad to carry out the objective - in this case, kill the enemy. So, really, 'cause no one plans anything these days on shooters, none of them are really tactical. *ramble* I do agree with you, though, in a sense. :PAlthough yes i know mostly in Halo 3 all you get are little kids that think they can take on the whole world without a team on their side which very rarely works.
