Wich one is better: Torque Bow or Spartan Laser?

Im not a halo fan in the least bit but I was a damn huge spartan laser junkie. Nothing beats having that weapon. I find it fun splasering people who think they are safe from harm and just walking around look for someone to kill. The best kills are warthogs and ghosts that think they can just own the map. The torque bow has got nothing on spartan laser.

I think the Spartan Laser is the only thing that makes Halo 3 fun. Without it, it's just another boring shooter that takes no skill. But getting a triple kill on a wharthog is the reason I play that game. The Torque Bow doesn't make Gears, so I'd have to go with the Laser on this poll.mohfrontline

torque bows are the most difficult to use and id say it

it took me a long time to get to be a good torquer and i have to say i WAS pretty good

I made this topic because both weapons have the same fundamentals. The shot have to be charged andits a one hit kill. I think the spartan laser is better because u can kill multiple enemies with one shot although I think that getting a long distance torque bow kill is one of the most rewarding things in Gears. Both weapons are cool and tough to use and are different from any other weapon in its respective game and thats what makes them special.JaviBonilla23

I would say that the Torque Bow is way better than the Spartan Laser, because it has a better outcome when on target. But I think you would be better coimparing the features of the Spartan Laser and the Hammer of Dawn. The both have to be targeted properly for a full effect and such.

I realize that, but in your first post, you stated it as a FACT. Rather than an OPINION. There is a difference.

Torque bow just because the achievement related to it is called "The Nuge"

There's just nothing quite like sticking someone with a torque bow and watching their body blow up in a bloody explosion.

Playing Halo 3 adds lean muscle mass, improves your chances of winning the lottery, repairs the ozone layer, and converts toxic waste into penicillin. Playing Gears of War makes your teeth decay, raises tsunamis, causes solar flare, and gives children in poor countries AIDS.

I too am able to drop into a thread, state my opinion, and offer absolutely no supporting arguments. Forums are unfortunately filled with people who feel expressing controversial opinions on issues outside the context of the thread...is a good thing.

lol at the above post, but other than that I must agree that getting a triple kill on an enemy warthog while the flag is being stolen away, is one of my favorite events in any video game.

I agree. I don't know where that "Halo takes no skill" thing came from. If there's no skill in Halo 3, then why do some people win and some people lose? Why isn't deathmatch end with every player at almost exactly the same number of kills?

the game is pethetically easy. According to your logic, I must be amazing at the game, because either the game is easy or everyone else really sucks. I rarely lose, the spartan laser is the only good thing in the game...maybe I'm just sick and tired of halo, I don't know, but it feels like a game made for 10 year olds.

The game? Single or mutliplayer? You just casually breezed through Halo 3 the first time on Legendary? And if you're one of the best people in the world at Halo 3, correct me if I'm wrong here, there's some money to be made playing competitively.

Legendary was really quite easy I was suprised. I beat it on Heroic first just to get the campaign out of the way, then came back later and beat the thing on Legendary. I got every achievment fairly easily. Maybe I should try out for tournaments, because I rarely get beaten, unless there's some kind of laggy connection.
