Will GTA4 sell more than Halo 3 did ???

Who thinks that GTA 4 is going to break Halo 3s impressive record sales? I personally want to see halo's record beat since it wasnt that great of a game only the online was good.

halo3's sales record isnt for selling the most copies..its for bringing in the most sales on day one.

Yeah. I believe CoD4 has outsold Halo3 overall already. But then again, it is multi platform.

theres no way. passed gta games only seem it sold a lot (10M) but theres was about 100+M ps2 out there while halo 2 sold about 8M and there was about 20M xbox out there. so is you do the math with nex gen, halo 3 sold about 8M with about 20M xbox 360s. now there are about 30M ps3,360 sold worldwide, i dont think gta its going to sell as halo 3 did.

On 360, I highly doubt it.

I like GTA alot more, but Halo is the "face" of Microsoft.

personally i think it will obliterate halo 3 in sales simply because its multi platfprm. i imagine just about every 360 owner and ps3 owner will be buying it. my local GAME shop reckons that pre-orders of the game dwarf pre-orders for halo3.Macutchi

It will outsell Halo 3 but I doubt it will get more day 1 sales.

But then again its on two systems so its a possibility.

it might not do as well as last gen cause when San Andreas was released everyone and their mother owned a PS2 at the time....hell, I would guarantee they release a new GTA on the PS2 and it would blow the next gen GTA4 sales out the water with the 360 and PS3 combined.
