I'm using the VGA cable with my 19" monitor and all I can use is 1280 x 720 (still looks bloody good though). Will my native resolution of 1440 x 900 be available in the Fall update? Cheers.
I didn't even know there were other options i just asumed that those were the only ones available/used I wonder if I can get something better out of my TV
Yes they are including 1440x900 and 1680x1050 :)! I am giddy :) Right now I am using 1366x768? or some odd resolution like that, but soon my moniter will be displaying gers 2 in all its 1680x1050 glory :)

I hear you loud and clear! Gears even looked great on my SD 28" TV, then I began to use 1280 x 720 on my monitor and that just KILLED it! Now we get even higher resolutions? Yes please!

Woo, I'm in the exact same situation as you, november 9 is the release date right (update)
On a somewhat related note, how on earth does 1280*1024 get displayed in widescreen, it looks the eact same as 1280*768 with the same FoV and everything. I'm currently using 1280*1024 widescreen and want to get an auto sync pattern up without it stretching, any ideas? Or should I just use 1280*768
