It says the list was last updated November 2007, which was quite a while ago. So I was wondering if any more will be added in the future. I just got the interest in the 360 recently and never had an Xbox, so sorry if it seems like a dumb question. How much was it updated before Nov. 2007?

Microsoft is done updating it. It's not so bad, the only good games to my knowledge that aren't compatible with the 360 are Beyond Good and Evil and Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance and they're both multiplatform.

Yeah, and it's rare that 50% of a console's library is occupied by stellar games. Can you think of any good games on the original xbox that aren't compatible with the 360 aside from Beyond Good and Evil and MGS2?

And the other 49% don't deserve to be playable (with a very few exceptions). :|

Advent Rising is the only one I could think of, but for people who aren't multiplatform gamers, not being able to play great games like Beyond Good and Evil and MGS2 can be frustrating. There are also a number of glitches that come with games that are backwards compatible.

I just bought an old Gamecube copy of Beyond Good and Evil, but to I'm out of luck to play MGS2 without buying another system.

It's ridiculous they have some crappy shovelware that got through with BC but great games like Otogi never got through and can't be played.

I'd say Microsoft has completely and/or nearly ceased it operations on making games compatible, so I wouldn't expect so unless one just happens to be picked to be put on Xbox Live.

Rallisport Challenge 2, Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition and MGS2 are the games i'd like to see added. I think they are done with updating the BC though.

I hope so. I am never going to support their stupid idea and buy the old games as a download. They screw up and we pay them for it. No thanks.

No, unfortunately. I'm pretty mad about that simply because I just bought the original MAFIA the other day for Xbox and I can't play it. Glad I only paid $5 for it new.

I don't think they will add games anymore (at least much) but most of the good original Xbox games are there, but for example the first Splinter Cell games are not. (correct me if I'm wrong) But you can get Splinter Cell 3 Chaos Theory from Xbox Live though. The 360 has so many awesome games that you won't need the original Xbox games, except for Halo 1 and 2. And once again, Halo 1 can be bought from Live. GET A 360!!!!!

Uhh...Now I saw the list on Wikipedia and it tells you about all the glitches in alot of these emulated games. If these glitches are true, then why did Microsoft even bother?

In some cases when they got one game emulating properly then that meant a few other games might also work so they just threw those in just to fill out the list of backward compatible games. That's why games like Barbie's Horse Adventure are on there.
