will the spring update...on may 7th allow me 2 watch .mkv or matroska(both the same) video files? it says that it supports the h.264 codec, this is the codeck used in .mkv files so will i be able to watch it? or is it jsut h.246 for mp4/mpeg 4?
i dont think so, the xbox360 is stupidly retarded when dealing with encodeing, i tried to play .wmv files from my laptop that i converted, but it dont play with 8.5 wmv, has to be 9.5+,
yeh i ahd that problem 2 lol. but on xbox.com is says support for h.246 codec so im assuming that includes mpeg4/mp4,mov and mkv/matroska all these files support that codec so im guesin it will work
