will there still be MW2 players now that Black Ops is in the picture?

pretty much topic... wondering if MW2 will die now that Black Ops is out of the picture.

People are still Playing every Cod apart from 3. Tried CoD 2 a few weeks ago and got into a full game every time. There will be plenty of people who wont get Black Ops for a little while and carry on playing previous titles.

Theres always loads of players still on cod 4 so I dont see why mw2 wouldnt have a hardcore base still. Only change in chat will of gone from kids moaning about noob tubers and quick scopers to kids moaning about how treyarch are **** ect :lol:

MW2=/=Blck Ops at ALL. Black Ops is as much like MW2 as it is W@W and COD4, which is to say, the basic mechanics are the same, and thats about it. Different story, modes, gameplay is extremely tweaked, etc. I just feel bad that people like you will dismiss Black Ops because of MW2s mistakes, even though the developers are different and the games are completely different animals.

That being said, some people like MW2 so they won't move on to it.

tldr:MW2 and Black Ops are different games. Fans will gravitate towards what they like more, yes people will still play it.
