[QUOTE="zaphod_b"][QUOTE="OoSuperMarioO"] [QUOTE="zaphod_b"]When you hook it up via VGA you will have several resolutions to choose from. The monitor's native resolution is 1680x1050, so you should set it up for that. VGA is progressive scan, so there's really no reason to set it up for 1080p.OoSuperMarioO
so if I game on this with my 360 what signal will I be giving this mointor to get a good picture.1280x1024?
Now that you mention it, the 360 does not have a 1680 option. I configured it for 1280x1024 widescreen format (which comes out to 1280x960 I believe). I use it while sitting at my computer desk so I've never minded the size, and it looks sweet. I was playing double agent last night and it looked like I could reach out and touch Sam Fischer's fuzzy head.
But why would you send it a 1280x1024 signal if thats 5:4 Im not getting you bud.The resolutions that you can select from are all 5:4 aspect ratio. However, when you select widescreen format, the 360 adjusts that to it's corresponding widescreen resolution, so 1280x1024 becomes 1280x768 (I incorrectly stated 1280x960 before).
