I'll pay for them. I dont understand how people think everything should be free all the time. I play World of Warcraft, i pay 15/month (more then your gold accounts) just to play and get the odd patch, and new battleground or something, as well as server maintenance, and GMs. The gold acounts dont cost near as much, and they are supporting server maintenance, marketplaces so you can get stuff, Voice in games, Friends lists gamewide as opposed to a friends list in one game, the messneger, etc etc etc. So, to pay 5/6 bucks for a map pack, and a new style of gameplay in multiplayer.....not to expensive. seriously, i spend more then that on coffee in a day. That's kinda true but maybe alot of people have the money to buy it but just choose not to because they thinks the idea of having to pay for game DLC is stupid. I remeber watching a morgan min. on G4 where she said the DLC for games cost nothing to produce yet they put a price on it.
I'm waiting for them to be free for two reasons:
1. if fewer people buy them, maybe Microsoft will realize that Epic is right, and things like that should be free.
2. the last two maps were pretty lame imo, so I'm not really expecting much out of these...I hope I'm pleasantly surprised whenever I end up getting them.Â

BikerPunkI don't think most of us expect everything to be free all of the time. This case is different anyways. Epic wants to give us the maps for free but MS wants us to pay so the complaints are kind of valid. Cheap or not I won't spend money I don't have to. 5 bucks is 5 bucks and why spend it if the maps are going to be free later on?
