So, it's Christmas time, and I'm asking for wireless in my house to FINALLY have live in my room.

Well, I don't wanna have to buy an xbox wireless connector thing, and I want to know, can I use any USB wireless reception thing? Another option, I've heard of this thing that's just like a box, and it picks up wireless signals, then puts it into an ethernet cable. Anybody know what that's called? I think that would be the better option, so when I go to college next year I can still pick up wireless... does anyone know how this stuff works? Because I definitely have no idea.

You can get the original Xbox adapter for like $50, and I've read in one of the above threads that that works.
