Wireless Router - HELP!

Ok, here is my problem, My computer is in the basement of my 3 story house, it is a pretty big house, but the walls are not very thick and you can hear everything, and my 360 is up upstairs in my bedroom. I have a 50ft ethernet cable but I dont want to drill any holes and i cant just have it nailed on the corner of the walls going up because I have many doors in my house and they need to be shut every once and a while.

IF THAT DOESNT WORK THEN try this 1 THE ROUTER IS IN THE BOTTOM RIGHT WHERE THE METAL BARRELS ARE, AND THE XBOX IS ANYWHERE ON THE 3RD FLOOR BUT WITH WALLS...

You might have a fair amount of interference. Your best bet is use a cable, no one notices a nice tidy job with cables. You can do what I did... okay my brother did, did out the wall for all the cable and then, when you run it through, patch it back up again and it's like it doesn't exist.

I would also recommend a wired connection. Any little thing near the 2.4GHz frequency will mess with the connection, especially those cordless phones and the microwave (when it's in us) Surely, there must be some way for you to get the ethernet cord to the 360.
