I just spent 450$ on an xbox, and im about to spend another 50$ for 12 months of xbox live. There's no way Im about to spend another 100$ on a wireless adapter that should cost 50$

Are there any wireless routers that are known to work in place of the adapter?

also, do you think that a router would be able to get a signal from the nintendo usb wifi adapter?

if you got a laptop you can enable internet connection sharing. just run an ethernet cord between the laptop and 360.

or i bought a wireless logitech thing that connected to my router in one room and my 360 in another

to do wireless you need to have a router AND a wireless adapter. You could always just go wired.

I bought a 50' ethernet cable for $12.00. I have a wireless router for my laptop but I didn't want to spend another $100 on the wireless adapter (I bought the Xbox Pro, an extra controller, Guitar Hero III and 6 games).

its two boxes. one connects to the router. one connects to the 360. but i cant find it anymore. search online somewhere like yahoo or ebay. your sure to find a deal on some kind of wireless adaptor
