I don't think a bigger city, new story, and new jokes are going to cut it this time.  GTA 4 has to innovate somehow this time if it doesn't want to be a disappointment.  So what can they possibly do to outdo the current crop of openworld games?

Yea, one thing about Rockstar is they revolutionize games.  So I think we'll have nothing to worry about.  I'm sure they've had ideas that they wanted to throw into previous editions but couldnt due to the limitations of the hardware, so now that we're next-gen I'm sure we'll see some new feats.  Plus with Saints Row kinda being GTA: Saints Row, I'm sure they'll wanna show them up, maybe a few inside jokes like they did to Driver and push the bar.  The only thing i'm worried about is having to wait til '08 to play it!

I know that... thats the projected release date, there's no guarantee it drops then.  Games get pushed back all the time.

Yeah, I just have no idea what they could do!!  They definitely need to have motorcylces in there, and I hope they also keep the country areas like they had in San Andreas, so that we can have a cool place to use four wheelers and dirt bikes.  Add planes on top of that with great graphics, and that is the absolute least I expect from this GTA.

I'd like to see it so that you could explore every building in the game.  Imagine the endless possiblities and hours you'd spend exploring buildings... mini games like "take the building", floor by floor eliminating your enemies; "hide and seek", going from apt to apt questioning people trying to find the whereabouts of your mark. Or if your wanted level gets to a certain point and you run inside a building to hide, the police lockdown the building and conduct a floor by floor search and you have to find a way to escape.

But I'm sure between their staff and the years in development they've come up with some good ideas.  I cant wait to hear about the features.

one thing they have to work on is the aiming system, but they announced ages ago that it will still be auto aim. :(
