Currently I think that the 360 library is some what well balanced. One genre it is lacking in is RPG's....but hopefully after this year that won't be a problem.
Currently, it's 'okay'. It's lacking certain genres and far too saturated with others.
At the end of this year that'll hopefully be resolved. Currently it's the best out of the next gen consoles and looks to continue that for the rest of this year.

I would say so too and later this year when the likes of Bioshock, Halo 3 and Stranglehold coming out. And even next year Resi 5Â and UT3 the 360's game library can only get better.
the best of the three by far. xbox 360 seems like the shooter console and that fits me perfect becasue for every 3 shooters I will buy I will then buy 1 racing or sports game
As far as the quality of the games they have been putting out I would say most Definately, but on the other hand I though they would have a lot more titles on the shelf by now. I often find myself starving for a new game and have to wait weeks for one.

i wouls say it has a decent library, but that's because i'm a tough critic. i've been playing games for 18 years and i get tired of the same old thing pretty easily. the 360 is a great system and undoubtedly will have a better online community than ps3, but during the course of a day off, i find i can only play rainbow six: vegas, maybe a little elder scrolls: oblivion, and a slim chance of need for speed. yes, the library is ok, but if it was more diverse and plentiful, i'd have alot more options than i do now.
It is wearing thin...the past couple of releases have been stinkers..Bullet witch, Prey, you get the gist. Basically if you havd your system since launch, have a Blockbuster near you, you have played everything good. The upside is that I still haven't come close to beating Oblivion.
i would say a limited library......but a goood library...id like to see some more and better rpgs....all i got for one is oblivion which is enough but i could use a new one right now.....lookin forward to two worlds though

I just said this to my cousin the other day. It seems like developers are dropping local multiplayer for XBOX Live multiplayer which is really pissing me off. What happened to the good 'ole days of everyone gathering around the console and competing?
oops sorry your name linked. But yeah it sucks developers are focusing on online play so much more than split screen multiplayer, even though online gaming is so popular, I prefer getting together with friends and all playing on one tv
It's not quite the PS2 as far as variety... probably never will be. But there's a whole bunch of games that are really good now, and by the end of the year I'd say that it had a great library. Decent sports games (hard to FIND great ones these days), fantastic racing game (Forza 2, if Forza 1 is any indication), great RPGs (Oblivion, Mass Effect and Blue Dragon), shooters up the yin yang (R6V, GRAW 1 and 2, Gears, FEAR, HalfLife 2, Halo 3, Quake II / Quake IV, etc etc etc), great stealth games (Hitman Blood Money, Sneak King), great family games (Lego Star Wars II, Viva Pinata, DOAX2), great miscellaneous games (meaning Guitar Hero 2, but Tony Hawk Project 8 too, oh and DOA4)...
Why is that?!!!! They make great games with co-op modes but you can only play them online. So if you have a friend over they basically have to sit there and watch. That is really taking the fun out of some of these games, after finishing the story mode of a game sometimes the best replay value comes from being able to play it with a freind that is actually there with you not online. It has been out longer than the other next gen consoles so it has a pretty good library. However, with the exception of Oblivion, the 360 needs more RPG games.
