WTH is error E 74

I just started my 360 a few minutes ago and got a screen that says contact microsoft support Error E74 with 1 flashing red light at the bottom right! is my console dead or can it be repaired or what :S

Same thing happened to me too, i think it has something to do with the latest update. I turned on console, asked me to update, i did so, it rebooted fine, i bought Track and field, played that for a while, turned off for a few hours, turned back on and E74 error code. I calleds support and they told me to do the same things(unplug everything). After all this failed she said it needs to be repaired. Mine is out of warranty so will cost £63. I told her its happened because of the update as its been fine since i had it, but she begged to differ.

At this moment, i'm not willing to pay £63 a repair which i feel is their fault.

Unfortunatly i had the same problem and it took amonth for me to get it back, and they gave me a "replacement console" thats all they told me, and it doesn work perfectly, i think the best bet it to buy 2 so you allways have a backup or spare consoleContrabnd

right.... everybody can afford to buy 2 and just have another 360 sitting around the house 'just incase'

LOL, i bet he says the same thing about houses. Just buy two in case on burns down or breaks.
