Tanks kinda ruined it, Treyarch thought they could copy Battlefield and they kinda failed.I thought there were vehicles in other Call of Duty games. No way were they trying to copy battlefield. I don't think the tanks ruined anything anyways I just dedicate a class that can take down a tank.
IMHO CoD4 is better. WaW isn't bad though, and I might be the only person who finds the Nazi Zombie Mode kinda boring, takes too long to get interesting.

explain how its copying when in the ORIGINAL cods on the pc always had tanks online i.e united offensive so not really copying just carrying on what they did previously .
and more to the point i prefer cod waw but cod4 is good but its full of douches that flame waw . when theyv plaayed like one cod game out of the series
I prefer WAW at the moment. I still play both games and each offer something different. The bottom line is that these two games are almost identical aside from the difference in maps and weapon arsenal. I really can't go wrong either way.
Overall I like Modern Warfare better in terms of story, but man, that last bit of the Marine campaign in World at War is awesome. Throwing mortars like grenades and surviving that last rush of Japanese in the courtyard was beyond cool.
